What's the difference between browser and desktop?

In your browser

  • Shortcuts only work while the dashboard is open and focused
  • You need to keep the browser tab open for actions to run
  • Actions that touch your PC — keystrokes, OBS, Minecraft — need the desktop app

On your PC (desktop app)

  • Shortcuts work from any app — press a combo mid-game and it fires, no alt-tabbing
  • Runs quietly in the background — close the browser, your triggers keep firing
  • Sounds, OBS scenes, Minecraft commands, and keystrokes fire right on your PC

How to install (2 minutes)

  1. 1Download the installer for your PC below
  2. 2Open the downloaded file
  3. 3If your PC shows a warning, click "More info" then "Run anyway"
  4. 4Follow the installer — it only takes a minute
  5. 5Open Thorfinity, sign in, and connect your PC — done

Windows may warn you — here's why that's okay

The installer isn't code-signed yet. A signing certificate is a yearly purchase we haven't made, so Windows shows "Unknown publisher" for this app — it's a statement about the file's identity, not about malware.

Installing anyway

  • Click "More info", then "Run anyway". The installer runs under your own Windows account — it never asks for administrator rights.
  • If Smart App Control is what blocks it, ask us in Discord first. On a work or shared PC, leave that protection on.

How to be sure you have the real file

  • Download only from this page. We never send installers in DMs or point you to other sites.
  • What you type, your chat messages, and viewer names stay on your PC — the privacy policy lists exactly what reaches our servers.
  • Every device is listed in your dashboard and can be disconnected at any time. Uninstalling removes the app; your settings stay so you can reinstall later.
  • You're always in control — disconnect any device from the dashboard at any time
  • Your passwords stay on your PC, protected by Windows/macOS security — never sent to our servers
  • No complex setup — no ports or router changes, just install and go
